• We were one of the first science Faculties in the University to introduce
  the Bachelor/Master (3+2) system based on 2 semesters, each with two quarters.
• The Faculties of Earth-Sciences and Geographical Sciences have
  merged (Jan 1, 2004) to form the Faculty of Geo-Sciences (F-GW).
• A three-year Bachelor Aardwetenschappen (Ba-AW)
  is being offered jointly by the departments of Earth-Sciences
  and Physical Geography (D-FG) of the new faculty.
• a three-year Bachelor in Biogeology is also being offered,
  jointly with the Faculty of Biology.
• Our Faculty offers six programmes under Masters in Earth Sciences:
  D-AW: Geology, Geophysics, Geochemistry, Biogeology
  D-FG: Physical Geography. Both depts. jointly offer Hydrology.
