Courses, Workshops and Schools

¨ An international workshop focusing on the role and
behavior of "Interfaces and interfacial displacement processes in

Awards

¨ InterPore would like to announce to its members a new Award, funded by Procter & Gamble: this is the InterPore-Procter and Gamble Award for Porous Media Research-2011. The Award is given in recognition of outstanding contributions to topics related to swelling porous media, very thin porous media, and behavior at interfaces.  Nominees must be members of InterPore.  Nomination packages should include full CV of the candidate, a nomination letter including explicit reference to the contributions to the aforementioned topics, and related documentation (publications, reports) supporting the nomination.  Nomination packages should be submitted here .  Deadline for receipt of complete nomination packages is the 31st of January, 2011.  The prize will consist of an award of 5000 Euros plus a certificate.

Scholarships

¨ NUPUS is offering two scholarships to support students to carry out a M.Sc. thesis for a period of 6 months (October 2010 to March 2011). A precondition for Dutch student would be to come to Stuttgart to carry out the thesis. For further information, please click here.
